Workday Advanced Compensation Subject Matter Expert

About the role

TL;DR

This hybrid or remote role focuses on Workday Advanced Compensation, including hands-on configuration and running annual salary, bonus, and stock processes. You will assess solutions, troubleshoot application issues, test functionality, and support global HR systems. It requires at least three years in the Workday ecosystem, current or former Workday certification, calculated-field experience, and English communication skills.

This position reports to: HRXP Application Owner (Compensation & Performance)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide technical and business process/data advice to support ongoing operations and new software development. Each day, you will utilize your knowledge on systems, procedures, and emerging technologies. You will also showcase your expertise by overseeing the development, and validating the functionality, of the final product.

The work model for the role is: hybrid or remote. This role is contributing to the Global HR Experience function.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Defining the feasibility of a solution, its implementation, and interaction with the existing systems.
  • Providing solutions and resolutions for all application issues through performing numerous tests, investigations, and analyses.
  • Building, designing, examining, and implementing well-organized and structured IT applications to meet business needs.
  • Assisting in the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of internal and cross-functional processes related to Information Systems services.

Qualifications for the role:

  • You are highly skilled in Workday Advanced Compensation module with hands on configuration experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience in having run annual salary, bonus and stock processes in a business as usual process.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Workday eco-system.
  • Highly adept in working in complex Global environments.
  • You are you are innovative and open to exploring new technologies and areas for continuous improvements.
  • Have a current Workday certification, or have previously held a Workday certification in HCM, Compensation or Advanced Compensation, with hands-on experience in creating, configuring, and maintaining calculated fields.
  • You are at ease communicating in English.
  • You hold current country-specific VISA/work permit (where required).
