Workday Integration Developer

About the role

TL;DR

Design and deliver Workday HCM integrations, from medium-complexity work to complex custom solutions, connecting HR data and processes with payroll, time, identity, and other client systems. Work directly with clients, Integration Leads, and functional consultants, support workshops, and develop junior team members. English fluency is required; Italian, French, or Spanish, plus Workday Orchestrate, Extend, or programming experience, are useful extras.

You'll be part of a team of advisory professionals who deliver more than just technology. From rapid deployments to complete transformations, you'll provide integrated, cloud-based HR solutions that put organizations on the fast track to a better way to work.

In this role, you will help our clients get the most out of their Workday investment by:

  • Leading/Contributing in the design of Workday integrations (from medium complexity to very complex custom solutions)
  • Collaborate with Integration Leads and Functional consultants in the design and development of integration solutions between Workday (for HR data/processes) and other client systems (including external systems like Payroll, Time and Identity Management)
  • Collaborate with clients on industry standards and leading practices in the Integration domain, contributing to technical integration solutions that meet client needs and objective and applying Workday and Accenture methodologies.
  • Support workshops and discussions on topics in Workday Integration functionalities.
  • Develop juniors in the configuration of Workday integrations and related testing.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and disparate environment through the implementation.
  • Liaising closely with client counterparts, Accenture colleagues, and Workday to exceed client expectations
  • Actively supporting innovation

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

  • Fluency in IT topics and interest in System Integration
  • Knowledge of Workday Integrations in HCM area (Payroll, Studio, Connectors, XSLT, etc.)
  • Adequate team-work & client-facing skills, with the ability to work in teams, projects, and stakeholder interactions effectively
  • Ability to work in dynamic environments, delivering high-quality outcomes under competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to translate complex requirements into clear solutions
  • Language fluency in English

Set yourself apart:

  • Experience in IT integrations or programming languages

  • Knowledge about project management, ITIL and other IT standards
  • Knowledge of HR & Payroll systems/processes
  • Has consulting experience
  • Additional European language fluency (e.g., Italian, French, Spanish)

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to role, level, location, effort, responsibility, skillset, and level of experience. This role corresponds to level 9 of (Metalmeccanico CBA B2) and range of base pay for this role is €30,000 – €50,500.
