This onsite role supports day-to-day HR data work in ADP Workforce Now, including employee changes, record maintenance, reporting, audits, onboarding, and benefits enrollment. You’ll need 1–2 years of HRIS experience, strong Excel and data-entry skills, and familiarity with payroll, benefits, and onboarding processes. What We're Looking For
The AMPAM Carson office is looking for an HRIS Administrator to join our growing HR team. The HRIS Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative support of all HR systems, including data entry, employee record maintenance, and routine reporting. This role works closely with the HR Manager and broader HR team to ensure HR data is accurate, complete, and up to date across payroll, benefits, and other ADP modules.
What You'll be Doing (But not limited to the following)
Perform routine data entry and updates in ADP Workforce Now, including new hires, terminations, transfers, and pay or status changes.
Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date employee records within ADP WFN.
Generate, run, and distribute standard and ad-hoc reports from ADP for HR and business leaders (headcount, turnover, new hires, terminations, etc.).
Build and maintain recurring HR reports and report templates within ADP to support routine leadership requests.
Compile and format HR data into clean, accurate reports and summaries for monthly and quarterly reporting cycles.
Respond to one-off reporting requests from HR, Finance, and department managers, ensuring turnaround within agreed timelines.
Review reports for data accuracy prior to distribution, flagging and correcting discrepancies as needed.
Respond to routine employee and manager inquiries regarding ADP system access and basic functionality.
Support open enrollment and benefits administration by entering and verifying enrollment data.
Assist with periodic audits of HRIS data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policy.
Help maintain HRIS process documentation, job aids, and training materials for end-users.
Escalate complex system issues to the HR Manager, IT, or ADP support as needed.
Support new hire onboarding by ensuring employee data is entered accurately and on schedule.
Assist with organizational chart updates and other routine HR data-maintenance tasks.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the HR team.
Who You Are
Experience:
1-2 years of experience working with HRIS systems; experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
Experience with data entry and administrative support in an HR environment.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Basic understanding of core HR processes (payroll, benefits, onboarding).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
