Workday Security Developer

About the role

TL;DR

This remote, full-time role requires at least six years of related experience and expert full-stack skills across front-end and back-end systems, APIs, relational databases, server configuration, and enterprise integrations. You’ll lead architecture, troubleshooting, testing, and large technical initiatives, while mentoring developers and working with clinical and technical stakeholders. The role includes an on-call rotation and requires maintaining at least three vendor or industry certifications.

How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:

The Full Stack Developer IV develops, maintains, and supports highly complex websites, applications, integrations, and enterprise technical solutions across the full stack utilizing advanced expertise in web frameworks, APIs, databases, and front-end and back-end technologies. Performs advanced system architecture, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation activities. Serves as an enterprise subject matter expert and technical leader responsible for guiding large-scale initiatives, mentoring technical staff, establishing development standards, and collaborating with TSG leadership, clients, and vendors to deliver strategic technical solutions.

The Full Stack Developer IV

  • Designs, develops, maintains, and supports highly complex websites, applications, integrations, and enterprise technical solutions utilizing web frameworks, APIs, databases, and front-end and back-end technologies.

  • Leads advanced troubleshooting and analysis of applications, interfaces, servers, and connected systems utilizing development and debugging tools.

  • Leads application architecture, solution design, unit testing, integration testing, implementation, and optimization activities with technical and clinical stakeholders.

  • Designs, develops, and maintains enterprise programs, interfaces, and technical solutions while maintaining expert knowledge of assigned applications and development tools.

  • Tracks and resolves highly complex technical issues independently and mentors team members in troubleshooting, development, and support activities.

  • Leads large-scale technical initiatives, multidisciplinary projects, and process improvement efforts to support operational and strategic objectives.

  • Collaborates with TSG leadership, clients, vendors, and stakeholders to evaluate business needs and identify opportunities to improve system functionality and operational efficiency.

  • Establishes and supports development standards, technical processes, documentation standards, and change management activities.

  • Develops technical documentation, training materials, and reference resources for supported systems and applications.

  • Serves as a technical mentor, enterprise resource, and subject matter expert for development standards, solution architecture, and system optimization activities.

  • Participates in an on-call rotation.

What We Require:

Education: Associate’s degree in a STEM related field or 2 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience: Minimum of 6 years of related experience required. Expert-level experience with full stack development including front-end and back-end technologies, APIs, relational databases, server configuration, and enterprise application integrations required.

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Obtains and maintains a minimum of three vendor and/or industry certifications/proficiencies as determined. Maintains primary application proficiency path plus adjacent certifications related to primary support responsibilities.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrates advanced organizational, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills required. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities required. Ability to lead large, complex technical initiatives and influence cross-functional technical decisions. Demonstrates accountability, adaptability, continuous learning, adherence to documentation standards and departmental processes, and awareness of operational and compliance impacts.

Compensation Range:

Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
