Workday Intelligence Analyst - Remote

About the role
Remote Workday role for an analyst with at least two years of HR systems experience or two active Workday Pro certifications. You’ll support HCM, Talent, Timekeeping, Benefits, Payroll, Reporting, and Integrations, with hands-on work in configuration, business processes, analytics, releases, data interfaces, troubleshooting, and user training. Advanced Excel skills are required.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday HCM, Talent, Timekeeping, Benefits, Payroll, Reporting, and Integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and distribute standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
- Configure, maintain, test, and troubleshoot Workday business processes, security roles, reports, dashboards, and system functionality.
- Partner with People Operations, Finance, Operations, Payroll, Benefits, and IT teams to understand business needs and recommend system solutions.
- Support Workday releases, enhancements, system updates, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with the management and monitoring of Workday integrations and data interfaces.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with regulatory, organizational, and security requirements.
- Analyze workforce data and trends to support business decision-making.
- Participate in system implementations, upgrades, testing, and project-related activities.
- Research and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
- Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, and training for Workday functionality.
- Create and maintain system documentation, job aids, and training materials.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve system issues and support organizational objectives.
- Research, identify, and drive opportunities to streamline and simplify existing processes and practices.
- Communicate with users, key stakeholders and leadership regarding system issues, enhancements, upgrades/releases, etc. as required.
Preferred Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or Business-related field preferred.
- At least two years' experience as a HR systems analyst or holds at least 2 active Workday Pro Certifications in the following areas: HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Absence/Timekeeping.
- Experience supporting multiple Workday modules, including: HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Timekeeping, Talent, Integrations, and Reporting/Analytics.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Must be analytical; detail oriented and understands/considers the downstream impact of configuration and business process changes.
- The individual must have problem solving skills and be able to apply creative solutions to potential problems.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Must have excellent time management skills in meeting deadlines.
- Exercises considerable judgment and discretion in preparing and handling information of a sensitive nature.
