About the role
This hybrid role provides Tier 2 Workday support for the EMEA, APAC, or US region, resolving technical issues, data discrepancies, and integration problems. You’ll support configurations, security, data loads, testing, documentation, and root cause analysis while working with Tier 1 and Tier 3 teams. Workday experience, 2+ years in HR or Shared Services, and fluent English are required.
As an HR Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the daily administration and maintenance of Elanco’s HRIS (Workday), focusing on the EMEA, APAC or US region. As a Tier 2 support specialist, you will resolve complex HRIS queries and requests, collaborating with Tier 1 and Tier 3 support teams. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills, deep HR process knowledge, and extensive Workday experience.
Your responsibilities
Provide Tier 2 Workday support, addressing technical issues, system errors, and data discrepancies.
Troubleshoot and resolve system problems, escalating to Workday Functional Leads as needed.
Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
Support system change implementations, including configurations, security, and data loads.
Gather requirements and design solutions with Workday Functional Leads.
Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides, training materials, and SOPs.
Monitor Workday integrations and escalate discrepancies to process owners.
Lead transition calls with Workday Functional Leads, ensuring effective knowledge sharing.
Participate in system testing and quality assurance activities.
Stay current with Workday releases, features, and best practices.
Contribute to HR process automation and improvement initiatives.
Train and guide Tier 1 and other HR Functions.
Deliver services within defined SLAs/KPIs, driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance employee experience.
Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and a commitment to achieving results.
Perform any other duties or projects as requested by the Line Manager, commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility for this role, for which the associate has the necessary experience and/or training.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Administration, IT, or a related field (recommended).
Experience: 2+ years of experience in HR or Shared Services in an international environment.
Workday: Workday experience is required.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Fluent English is required.
