Senior Workday Change Management Consultant

About the role

TL;DR

Lead client Workday change management programs remotely, with 25% to 50% travel. You’ll create readiness, impact, communications, champion, training, and adoption deliverables, build visual and instructor-led training, deliver client sessions, and lead weekly project meetings. The role requires at least 2 years of change management experience, Workday Pro certification or Workday ecosystem experience, and includes mentorship of junior consultants; pay is $90,000 to $135,000.

We are looking for a Senior Workday Change Management Consultant who is passionate about working in a collaborative environment and has the ambition to be a driver for success.

Requirements (What We’re Looking For):

  • 2-3 + years experience supporting the development of change management-related deliverables for clients across various industries (required)
  • Workday Pro Certification, or prior experience with a Workday ecosystem partner or Workday directly (required)
  • Experience in change management within Workday implementation projects (required)
  • Experience with training development of visual job aids, instructor-led trainings and training delivery (required)
  • Consulting experience either as an internal Workday consultant or with a consulting/software company (preferred)
  • Prosci Certification (preferred)
  • Experience working with e-learning tools such as Captivate, Articulate, or Camtasia (preferred)
  • Understanding of HCM and/or Financial concepts and processes
  • Experience with Human Resource or Financial system implementations, Workday Launch methodology a plus
  • Ability to spearhead the planning and execution of the change management programs independently
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Collaborative spirit, and willing to work with various types of Everforth TopBloc and client stakeholders to gain deep understanding of client challenges, change impacts, and build roadmap for success
  • Support clients in completing Change Management deliverables and help them achieve their user adoption metrics
  • Passion for exceptional customer service and customer collaboration
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint,Google Sheets and Google Slides programs
  • Excellent organization skills with ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to travel 25% - 50%

Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):

  • Implement change management deliverables/activities for clients, including: readiness assessment, stakeholder analysis, change impact assessment, champion network, communications plan, training plan, education materials, and user adoption metrics
  • Develop and design client-specific training materials, including: visual job aids, instructor-led training presentations, and e-learning videos
  • Deliver instructor-led training sessions to client
  • Lead weekly meetings with client to provide project updates, track project status, and resolve questions or issues
  • Collaborate with functional team members to identify change and process impacts. Understand client configuration and updates for better delivery of change deliverables
  • Provide support and mentorship to junior team members, delegate client Change Management activities to promote continuous learning and career progression
  • Support ongoing business development of the Change Management practice by suggesting methodology improvements

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

The hiring base pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Everforth TopBloc, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current hiring range salary is $90,000 - $135,000.
