About the role
We're looking for an Oracle Fusion HCM Performance Domain Functional Consultant to implement and support Performance Domain modules for UK public sector clients. You'll need to have expert knowledge on Performance Domain modules process, guiding projects through the SDLC and translating complex solutions for diverse audiences.
Your role
As an Oracle Fusion Performance Management functional consultant capable of configuring performance documents, goals, eligibility, evaluations, approvals and talent process integration for UK/global HCM landscapes.
You'll also need to lead client engagements, discussing integrations, data migrations, and reporting across relevant modules. A key part of your role is translating complex technical solutions into clear insights for diverse audiences, from technical teams to senior management. You'll guide projects through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring smooth delivery and top system performance.
Responsibilities:
Configure Oracle Fusion Performance Management processes including performance templates, document periods, sections, rating models, eligibility profiles and approvals.
Support goal management alignment, performance document creation, check-ins, manager evaluations, worker self-evaluations and calibration touchpoints where applicable.
Gather business requirements and translate performance cycle policies into practical Fusion design options.
Support security roles, notifications, approval workflows, questionnaire integration and reporting requirements for performance processes.
Design and execute test scenarios for annual reviews, mid-year reviews, probation reviews, objective setting and manager/employee workflows.
Coordinate with Talent, Core HR, Security and Reporting teams to resolve configuration, workflow and data issues.
Prepare user guidance, administrator handover documents and support model artefacts for HR operations teams.
Support release regression, change requests, production incidents and continuous improvement for performance processes.
Engage business stakeholders to clarify requirements, explain solution options and manage risks around absence/payroll dependencies.
Required:
Hands-on Oracle Fusion Performance Management configuration experience.
Strong understanding of performance templates, rating models, eligibility profiles, document periods and evaluation workflows.
Experience in requirements workshops, functional design, test preparation, defect resolution and stakeholder demos.
Ability to work across Core HR, Goals, Talent Profile, Security and Reporting dependencies.
Preferred
Experience with Oracle Goal Management, Talent Review or Succession Management touchpoints.
Exposure to UK/global performance cycle harmonisation across multiple business units.
OTBI/BIP reporting exposure for performance dashboards and operational tracking.
Should have excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
Should be an excellent planner when it comes to perform release planning and other delivery planning.
Should have excellent problem-solving skills
Responsible for Coaching and mentoring team members with experience of managing 5+ team members
Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
