Workday Technical Developer

Reporting to the Manager of Integrations, the Workday Technical Developer supports and enhances our Workday environment, specifically in Finance, Human Capital Management (HCM), and Student modules. This role focuses on leveraging Workday’s advanced technical capabilities, including Workday Reports, Extend, Prism Analytics, AI, and Integrations (including Enterprise Interface Builders, or EIBs). This role is instrumental in maintaining the efficient operation and ongoing enhancement of our Workday system, ensuring it meets organizational requirements and supports data-driven decision-making.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Customize and configure Workday applications to meet our organizations requirements. Develop Workday Extend.

  • Coordinate and support Workday Integrations including Core Connectors, Studio, and EIBs.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Workday PRISM Analytics solutions to provide comprehensive data insights and support decision-making processes.

  • Assist in the optimization and usage of AI.

  • Provide system and end user support and guidance. Troubleshoot and test Workday applications to ensure a strong day-to-day operation.

  • Properly document applications and integrations.

  • Create and maintain reports. Provide findings, progress updates, and recommendations as needed.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Management retains the right to add or change job duties at any time.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.

  • Minimum four (4) years of professional experience in a Workday Technical Developer role or similar position with direct experience in Finance, HCM, or Student modules.

  • Demonstrated experience with Workday Integrations, including Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and EIBs.

  • Proven ability to work with Workday Extend, Prism Analytics, and AI functionalities.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree from an accredited university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.

  • Experience working for a Higher Education institution.

  • Familiarity with Workday security roles, domain policies, and business processes.

Salary Range

$97,624.85-$126,919.75 Annually
