About the role
Job Description
As an Oracle Cloud HCM Consultant, you will lead the design and delivery of Core HR, Time & Labor, and Absence Management solutions within Oracle Cloud HCM implementations. You will work closely with clients to assess current HR and workforce management processes, define future-state solutions, and guide successful implementations aligned to business objectives. This role requires strong functional HR knowledge across employee lifecycle, time tracking, scheduling, and leave management, along with consulting experience and the ability to translate business needs into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Process Assessment & Solution Design
Assess current-state HR, Time & Labor, and Absence Management processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Design future-state solutions aligned with Oracle Cloud leading practices and client goals
Advise clients on optimizing:
Organizational and workforce structures
Time collection, scheduling, and labor compliance
Absence policies, accruals, and leave plans
Data governance and regulatory requirements
Implementation Planning & Execution
Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to develop implementation plans across Core HR, Time & Labor, and Absence modules
Lead functional workstreams across the full project lifecycle (requirements through deployment)
Ensure alignment between business requirements and system configuration across integrated HCM modules
Requirements Gathering & Configuration
Facilitate workshops to gather and validate requirements across HR, time tracking, and leave management processes
Translate business needs into functional designs and system configurations, including:
Workforce structures, jobs, and positions
Time entry rules, time calculation rules, and schedules
Absence plans, accrual rules, and eligibility profiles
Support testing cycles including SIT and UAT
Client Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a trusted advisor on HR and workforce management transformation
Provide guidance on best practices for time compliance, labor regulations, and absence policies
Communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders
Knowledge Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Contribute to development of HCM best practices and accelerators across Core HR, Time & Labor, and Absence Management
Support continuous improvement initiatives within Peloton’s HCM practice
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
8+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud HCM, including Core HR and at least one of the following: Time & Labor or Absence Management
Experience leading at least 3 (three) full lifecycle Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR implementations including Core HR and Time & Labor and/or Absence
Strong understanding of:
HR processes and employee lifecycle management
Time tracking, scheduling, and labor compliance concepts
Absence and leave management processes and policies
Hands-on experience configuring:
Workforce structures (legal entities, business units, etc.)
Time & Labor components (time entry, rules, layouts, schedules)
Absence Management (plans, accruals, eligibility, balances)
Oracle Cloud HCM certification(s) in Core HR, Time & Labor, or Absence Management preferred
Ability to translate functional requirements into system configurations
Consulting experience in HCM systems implementation strongly preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote, client-facing environment

Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing Core HR + Time & Labor + Absence Management together in integrated solutions
Exposure to additional modules such as Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, or Workforce Compensation
Experience with labor laws, union rules, overtime regulations, and leave compliance
Experience with global implementations and regulatory considerations (e.g., GDPR)
Experience with HCM security design, especially related to time and absence data
Experience mentoring junior consultants and leading functional workstreams
Compensation:
Peloton provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, business needs, and geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,000-$150,000 (Base Compensation). Peloton also offers bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package including:
