UKG Kronos Specialist

PrestigePEO is seeking a technically skilled, client-facing UKG Kronos Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will own the full lifecycle of UKG Kronos client accounts — from initial build and configuration through ongoing service, updates, and account maintenance. You will act as a trusted partner to clients, leading implementation meetings, designing system configurations, and ensuring optimal platform performance for the life of the account.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Implementation & Build
  • Lead client discovery and implementation meetings to gather requirements and design the Kronos account structure.
  • Execute full system configuration, including pay rules, pay calc profiles, accrual plans, schedules, timeclocks, and integrations.
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding of new clients and system users within UKG Kronos.
  • Ongoing Account Service & Updates
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, troubleshooting, and system changes throughout the life of the account.
  • Perform ongoing configuration updates, enhancements, and adjustments based on evolving client needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical or usage issues through phone, email, or screen sharing in real time.
  • Reporting & Client Optimization
  • Partner with clients to create and refine custom reports that are useful and relevant to their operations.
  • Guide clients through system navigation, functionality questions, and best practices for optimal use.
  • Internal Collaboration & Documentation
  • Track, log, and report on client interactions, open issues, and resolutions using internal systems.
  • Identify patterns or recurring issues and suggest improvements to workflows, training materials, or configuration standards.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience with UKG Kronos configuration and administration.
  • Prior experience in a client-facing role, with a strong focus on customer service and communication.
  • Working knowledge of timekeeping and payroll concepts (PTO accruals, overtime rules, pay calc logic, punches, etc.).
  • Experience leading virtual client walkthroughs via Teams.

  • Deep technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; persistent in finding root causes and driving resolution.
  • Comfortable managing a high volume of client inquiries while maintaining attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Capable of translating complex system functionality into clear, actionable guidance for clients.

Salary based on experience between $80K - $90K
