TL;DR

Lead Dayforce Payroll implementations across WFM, Pay, and Analytics, while coaching junior staff and managing complex project workstreams. Your role will include, but isn’t limited to:

  • Lead the implementation of Dayforce Payroll solutions and guide teams in strategic planning and execution

  • Mentor junior staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Achieve successful project delivery and uphold quality standards

  • Refine financial processes to benefit clients

  • Utilize knowledge in Dayforce to drive process improvements

  • Analyze and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system.

  • Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Simplify complex processes to improve reliability and achieve cost and cycle time reductions, as well as managing work streams of a complex project to implement improvements.

  • Identify and address client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues.

  • Learn and perform in functional and technical capacities, which includes the following areas: System application implementations and software configurations; Produce deliverables within a diverse, fast paced environment, collaborating effectively across teams and juggling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.

  • Contribute to innovation initiatives to support modernization of the Payroll functions powered by Dayforce

What You'll Bring:

Your skills, knowledge, and experiences are what set you apart. Here's what we look for:

  • Consulting experience with demonstrated experience in HR/WFM/Pay/Analytics solutions functions via system implementation

  • Ability to navigate complex situations to enhance personal and technical growth, and to develop a thorough understanding of the business context

  • 3 years of experience with Dayforce and implementing other HCM/Payroll technologies

  • Preferred experience with Dayforce or other ERP systems solutions, including, SAP, Oracle, ADP

  • Prior experience or degree in accounting, Payroll operations or business administration

  • Providing cross-functional Dayforce advice and technical integration

  • Showcasing thorough Payroll service delivery knowledge

  • Leading Dayforce practice growth through knowledge sharing

  • Maintaining engagement economics and flexibility

  • As a requirement, a Security Clearance is mandatory for all staff who’ll be engaged on these assignments. The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
