Analyst, HRIS (On-Site) (Workday)

About the role
In this role, you will provide analytical and technical support to the Human Resources department while ensuring the effective operation of our HRIS platforms. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of HRIS experience, demonstrate a high level of integrity, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to build trusted relationships with leaders and stakeholders across the organization.
Primary Job Duties
Includes but is not limited to:
- Oversee and maintain the optimal functionality of the HRIS, including system installation, configuration, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and HR partners to identify system improvements and enhancement opportunities; recommend and implement effective solutions.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Human Resources, Information Technology, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS-related projects and implementations.
- Perform data queries, audits, and statistical analyses to support HR reporting and decision-making.
- Act as the subject matter expert for the organization’s HRIS, providing guidance and support to users as needed.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute standard and ad hoc reports to meet business needs.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of HRIS data and system records.
- Use a personal device/cellular phone for job-related operational tasks, job duties, and review of company documents, as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Strong ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable recommendations and solutions.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels and across diverse cultures.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a working knowledge of company and departmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of HRIS or related experience.
- Prior experience working with Workday.
- Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Nevada Gaming Registration.
Physical Demands
- Work is typically performed in an office environment.
- Must be tolerant of varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
- Prolonged sitting/standing.
- Bending and reaching.
- Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and maneuvering items weighing up to 10 lbs.
- Eye/hand coordination.
- Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS), and other instructions.
