We’re looking for a Workday Security & Data Lead to join us at Telia.

I’m Domas Milius Head of HR IT Solutions Unit and we are looking for new colleague to join our international team. In this role, you will own group-level Workday security configuration, access governance, reporting, data controls and audit support. You will help ensure that sensitive HR data is protected, access is appropriate and Workday controls remain transparent and auditable.

What you’ll do:

You will take end-to-end technical ownership of Workday security and data governance, from understanding business and compliance needs to configuring, testing, documenting and supporting the solution in production. You will work closely with HR, IT security, privacy, audit, identity management, integrations and colleagues across Telia’s countries.

  • Configuring and maintaining group-level Workday security, including security groups, roles, domain security and business process security policies.
  • Ensuring consistent security design across countries, legal entities, organisations and HR processes.
  • Managing access requests, role assignments, access reviews, exceptions and security clean-up activities.
  • Maintaining Workday security-role and data-access documentation, including ownership and approval requirements.
  • Building and maintaining Workday custom reports, calculated fields and audit reports.
  • Preparing evidence and supporting walkthroughs for internal and external audits.
  • Supporting Workday releases, security testing, access reconciliations and production issues.
  • Assessing security and data impacts of new functionality, integrations and organisational changes.
  • Working with integration specialists to govern ISUs, ISSGs, APIs and integration data access.

What will help you thrive in this role:

You combine strong Workday expertise with a practical approach to governance. You are comfortable challenging unclear access requests and can explain security and data controls to both technical and business stakeholders.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday Security in a group or enterprise environment.
  • Experience with role-based, user-based, organisation-based and integration security groups.
  • Good knowledge of domain and business process security policies.
  • Strong Workday reporting experience, including custom reports and calculated fields.
  • Experience with access reviews, privileged access, internal controls and external audits.
  • Understanding of Workday integrations, Integration System Users and Integration System Security Groups.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, sensitive HR data, data classification and access governance.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.

Nice to have:

  • Workday Security, Reporting, HCM or Integration certification.
  • Experience with Workday Orchestrate, Integration Apps, EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, APIs or RaaS.
  • Experience with Workday Extend, dashboards, Prism Analytics or identity-governance tools such as TIGA.
  • Experience with Workday release management, regression testing and structured change management.
  • Experience working in an international or cross-functional organization.

Only for Lithuanian candidates: Monthly salary range for this position - 3700-5000 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
