About the role

TL;DR

Serve as the primary support and report developer for UKG, covering Payroll, Benefits, Recruitment, and related HR systems. You’ll troubleshoot issues, support end users, create training, and extract data for reporting and analytics. The role also leads upgrades, new module implementations, integrations, and the HRIS Steering Committee, and requires at least three years in an IT or HRIS customer-facing role.

The HRIS Analyst serves the organization as the primary support and report developer for WesleyLife HR related systems, including UKG, and related HR systems. This position supports the organization by ensuring the ongoing functionality of the current systems, troubleshooting issues, developing educational/information, support for end-users, managing the details of the implementation of upgrades and/or new modules, and assisting the team in the extraction of data for reporting and analytics purposes.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

  • HR Systems Management: Be the go-to expert for all modules in UKG (Payroll, Benefits, Recruitment, etc.) and maintain system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Super-User & Project Lead: Act as the primary contact for all HRIS-related matters, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors on upgrades, new module implementations, and system integrations.

  • Training & Support: Develop training tools for new hires and provide ongoing support for end-users, ensuring they can navigate the system confidently.

  • Data Reporting & Analytics: Extract, analyze, and create meaningful reports from UKG, and other systems to support decision-making across the organization.

  • Payroll & Systems Support: Partner with payroll and finance teams to handle system maintenance and troubleshooting.

  • Continuous Improvement: Lead the HRIS Steering Committee, recommend enhancements, and ensure our systems are always improving.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in an IT or HRIS customer-facing role providing direct support to customers. Previous experience with UKG strongly preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex system changes into easy-to-understand training for end-users.

  • Project management skills to lead system upgrades and implementations smoothly.

  • Must demonstrate critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively manage projects.

  • Must demonstrate advanced skills in the use of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Must demonstrate genuine and positive customer service through in-person, phone and email interactions.
