Workday Integration Architect

About the role

TL;DR

Lead client discovery, workshops, and architecture for Workday integrations across HCM and/or Finance, Payroll, and external systems. You’ll guide a team through requirements, design, build, testing, and deployment using Studio, EIB, Document Transformation, Orchestrate, and third-party code, while working with clients, Workday, and global delivery teams. Several full-cycle Workday implementations, fluent English, and travel as needed are expected; Integration or Studio certification and Cloud Connect payroll or benefits experience are advantages.

As a Workday Integration Architect

You'll be part of a team of advisory professionals who deliver more than just technology. From rapid deployments to complete transformations, you'll provide integrated, cloud-based HR solutions that put organizations on the fast track to a better way to work.

In this role, you will help our clients get the most out of their Workday investment by:

  • Sharing leading practices and your experiences on integrating Workday HCM and/or Finance with Payroll and other systems, including rationalisation of the integration inventory
  • Hosting workshops and leading discussions on topics across the integration domain
  • Lead Discovery session with client for each domain specific integration
  • Deliver requirements and design documents to developers
  • Managing and guiding a team of Workday Integrations consultants
  • Liaising closely with client counterparts, Accenture colleagues and Workday to achieve a robust solution
  • Active involvement in (pre-)sales activities to shape the right offering for our prospective clients

We are looking for experience in the following skills

  • Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application with external applications across a wide array of Financial functional areas, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Lead the design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB, Document Transformation, Orchestrate for Integrations and supporting 3rd party coding
  • Experience from several full-cycle Workday implementations, including requirements gathering, integration design, testing and deployment
  • Ability to meet client travel requirements as needed, and efficiently manage virtual team and client interactions
  • Thrive in a diverse, dynamic environment
  • Think analytically and effectively apply logic to solve problems
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines despite conflicting demands
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and can clearly articulate complex messages and requirements
  • Strong desire to work with clients and provide exceptional client experiences
  • Fluency in English

  • Workday up-to-date Integration certification
  • Cloud Connect Third Party Payroll and Benefits experience
  • Workday Studio Certification
  • Ability to work closely with a global team including offshore delivery teams
  • Workday Reporting/PRISM/Extend experience
  • Workday HCM or Financials functional / consulting experience
  • Fluency in another language
