The Lead Workday Engineer serves as the subject matter expert and technical lead for the organisation’s Workday platform. This role ensures the effective configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Workday to support business operations across HR, Finance, and other integrated functions. The Lead Workday Engineer collaborates with stakeholders to align the Workday system with business objectives, enhance user experience, and support data-driven decision-making.
System Ownership
Serve in the team for all Workday-related initiatives, configurations, and system upgrades.
Execution of the Workday roadmap, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs and strategic objectives.
Configuration & Optimisation
Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday modules and enhancements.
Configure and maintain Workday business processes, security roles, and integrations to ensure optimal system performance.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including action logs and trackers, to provide real-time visibility into progress.
Prepare and deliver project status reports and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Performance
Actively participate in the Workday Community and stay informed on new features, best practices, and upcoming releases.
Development and engagement
Commit to continuous professional development through supervision, performance reviews, and relevant training opportunities.
