Workday - Sana AI Solution Architect

Alchemy is seeking a Workday & Sana AI Solution Architect to help clients understand, design, and adopt emerging AI capabilities across the Workday ecosystem. This role will advise clients across Workday Platform, Student, and technical areas, while also helping Alchemy stay ahead of Workday and Sana's AI evolution. The role will serve as a senior client-facing architect across projects and as a strategic partner to Sales during pursuits, helping shape solution strategy, articulate AI-enabled value, and translate evolving capabilities into practical client outcomes.

This is primarily a client-facing consulting and solution architecture role. The ideal candidate will support advisory and architecture needs across active projects, sales pursuits, and internal enablement. A critical part of the role will be communicating Workday AI direction, use cases, and practical implementation guidance to consultants so they can responsibly adopt and leverage Workday AI as they implement solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior solution architect across client engagements involving the Workday platform, Student, technical areas, Workday AI, Sana, enterprise knowledge, automation, and AI-enabled delivery transformation.
• Advise clients on Workday Platform strategy, Student considerations, technical architecture, and practical AI use cases, with a focus on business value, adoption, governance, scalability, and responsible implementation.
• Partner with Sales and Practice Leaders on pursuits by helping qualify opportunities, shape solution strategy, develop point-of-view materials, support demos or discovery sessions, and articulate Alchemy's AI-enabled value proposition.
• Stay current on Workday AI features, Sana capabilities, roadmap updates, and emerging enterprise AI trends; translate those developments into client-ready insights, recommendations, and offerings.
• Design high-level solution architectures that connect Workday, Sana, enterprise applications, knowledge sources, and responsible AI guardrails in a way clients can understand and act on.
• Create reusable sales and delivery assets, including discovery questions, solution patterns, implementation playbooks, demo narratives, proposal language, and advisory frameworks.
• Act as Alchemy's Workday AI architecture voice for consultants by communicating Workday AI direction, emerging capabilities, practical use cases, implementation considerations, and adoption guidance across projects.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify where Alchemy can responsibly embed AI into its own delivery methodology, knowledge management, and client-facing services.

Qualifications

• Architect-level experience in Workday consulting, solution architecture, transformation advisory, or enterprise technology implementation.
• Strong understanding of the Workday platform, with experience or fluency across Student, technical architecture, integrations, reporting, security, Extend, and cross-functional delivery considerations.
• Demonstrated curiosity and passion for AI, automation, agentic workflows, and the future of enterprise work.
• Ability to operate credibly with client executives, technical teams, delivery teams, and sales stakeholders.
• Comfortable moving between strategy and execution, including discovery, solution design, proposal support, enablement, and hands-on delivery.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex AI and technology concepts for business audiences.
• Consultative mindset with strong judgment around governance, data privacy, security, change management, and responsible AI adoption.
• Experience with Sana, enterprise knowledge platforms, AI agents, Copilot, automation tools, or workflow orchestration is strongly preferred.
• Serve in a billable client-facing capacity, contributing to project delivery, advisory services, solution architecture, and AI-related consulting engagements while maintaining utilization goals aligned with role expectations.

• Contribution to client delivery, advisory value, and revenue-generating services.
• Support for qualified sales pursuits, including influence on pipeline, win strategy, and solution differentiation.
• Creation of repeatable AI solution assets that improve sales effectiveness and delivery consistency.
• Client feedback on advisory quality, clarity, and practical business value.
• Internal adoption of Workday AI knowledge, playbooks, and implementation guidance across consultants and project teams.
