About the role

TL;DR

Implement and optimize Dayforce Flex Work for clients managing contingent workforces. You’ll lead discovery sessions, translate needs into system requirements, configure workflows, vendor management, and reporting, then manage UAT, issue resolution, training, and support. The role requires 4+ years with enterprise SaaS in implementation, consulting, or support, plus experience with SMB and enterprise buyers and open API integrations.

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Implementation Consultant to join the Dayforce Flex Work team. As an Implementation Consultant, you will play a vital role in the implementation and optimization of Dayforce Flex Work, helping clients maximize the value of their contingent workforce management capabilities.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, configure systems, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement across the implementation lifecycle. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, process analysis skills, and a customer-centric mindset to deliver exceptional results in a dynamic SaaS environment.

What You'll Get to Do

  • Lead client-facing discovery sessions with client stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed system requirements for Dayforce Flex Work.

  • Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement within the contingent workforce lifecycle, from requisition to offboarding.

  • Assist in configuring and maintaining the Dayforce Flex Work platform to meet business needs, including role approval workflows, vendor management, and reporting.

  • Collect and upload data, analyze trends, and optimize processes to support data-driven decision-making for contingent workforce management.

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth integration of Dayforce Flex Work into broader workforce management strategies.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within Dayforce Flex Work to ensure system functionality and data accuracy.

  • Configure test scripts to mirror configuration, manage client User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and log, prioritize, and resolve identified issues in a timely manner.

  • Develop and deliver training materials, documentation, and support to ensure successful end-user adoption.

  • Identify opportunities for process and system enhancements within Dayforce Flex Work to optimize contingent labor management.

Skills and Experience We Value

  • 4+ years of experience with SaaS enterprise software, such as Dayforce, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Zuora, Infor, Taleo, ERP, PeopleSoft, Kronos, Cornerstone, or similar, in a support, implementation, or consulting environment.

  • Demonstrated experience working with SMB and large enterprise buyers.

  • Understanding of open API integration frameworks to support integration discussions with partners and prospects.

  • A diligent and thorough approach to preparation and problem-solving.

  • Ability to operate and thrive within a nimble and Agile organization.

  • Curious and inquisitive mindset, constantly seeking to understand “the why” for customers and partners.

  • Confident verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with users and peers at all levels and varying technical abilities.

  • Experience managing incoming case queues, prioritizing, and resolving a wide range of client inquiries, including in-depth analysis and cross-team collaboration.

  • Knowledge of the staffing industry, vendor management systems (VMS), and managed service provider (MSP) landscape.
