Senior Technical Consultant (Oracle)

A Senior Technical Consultant at Argano is a seasoned technical professional with deep technical expertise, responsible for leading and delivering high-quality work independently on mid- to large-scale software development tasks as part of client projects. They work as part of a team, directing code reviews and unit testing on larger workstreams, and have demonstrated the ability to handle substantial project tasks independently while mentoring and guiding technical team members. This position is responsible for identifying features and leading the design, development, unit testing, and validation of applications, processes, and solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, implement, and deploy Oracle Integrations solutions

  • Design and create integrations using tools such as Oracle HCM Cloud (FastFormula, HCM Extract, HDL, BIP) and Web Services (SOAP & REST)

  • Develop OIC integrations between Oracle Cloud applications and legacy applications

  • Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and strategy

  • Define and implement best practices for integrations with standard enterprise systems such as Oracle Cloud, JD Edwards, and EBS

  • Participate in requirements, design, and development reviews

  • Work closely with client resources to transfer technical knowledge and give guidance on best practices

  • Ensure quality of development deliverables by applying proven testing methodologies

  • Provide knowledge transfer on Oracle solutions and integrations through meetings and presentations

  • Maintain well-documented procedural instructions to hand off to the client

  • Report status to engagement management

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 4 years of report development experience

  • Minimum 3 years working with Oracle Integration Cloud solutions; Oracle Integration Cloud certification a plus

  • Overall 7+ years of IT experience

  • Development experience with HCM systems (Oracle Cloud, JD Edwards, and E-Business Suite)

  • Experience in designing and developing complex integrations

  • Experience creating OIC solutions using REST, SOAP, FBDI, and BI Publisher.

  • Experience developing customizations using Visual Builder and Process Builder is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of API security certification, authentication, authorization, IP security setup, and endpoint configuration

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to proactively resolve issues and conflicts

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High commitment to exceed performance expectations

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage client expectations at a senior level

  • Professional demeanor when engaging with internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude under stressful circumstances

  • Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Preference given to those who reside in the Midwest or East coast.
