HR Technology Specialist (ADP)

About the role

TL;DR

Support employees with HRIS, ATS, and LMS issues, including account management, troubleshooting, password resets, reports, and data audits. You will also assist with configuration, integrations, upgrades, testing, training, and process improvements. The role requires at least one year of HR technology experience, advanced Excel skills, and experience with ticketing systems. ADP Workforce Now, iCIMS, and Colibri CEU 350 experience is preferred.

As a HR Technology Specialist, you will provide daily support to end users – troubleshoot platform issues, conduct password resets, etc., in addition to assisting with platform configuration, report generation and process improvements. This role will provide essential support in the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our HR technology systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in HR technology, working knowledge of HR policies and regulations, a passion for learning, and a desire to contribute to a positive employee experience. Essential Duties:

  • System Administration & Support:

  • Provide first-level technical support to employees regarding HR technology platforms (e.g., HRIS, ATS, LMS) in accordance with SLAs.

  • Assist with user account management, including creation, modification, and termination.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HR systems, escalating complex issues to senior team members or vendors as needed.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date system documentation and user guides.

  • Data Management & Reporting:

  • Assist with data entry, data validation, and data integrity within HR systems.

  • Generate and distribute standard reports from HR systems as requested.

  • Support data audits and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

  • Provides detailed documentation and reporting in support of internal and external audits, as requested.

  • Assist with the creation of ad hoc reports.

  • System Implementation & Maintenance:

  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation projects.

  • Assist with the configuration and customization of HR systems to meet business needs.

  • Support the implementation of new HR technology tools and initiatives.

  • Assists in the establishment and maintenance of all integrations with the HR platforms.

  • Assist with testing new system functionality.

  • Assist with development and maintenance of all configuration documentation.

  • Training & Communication:

  • Assist in developing and delivering training materials and resources for employees on HR technology systems.

  • Communicate effectively with employees regarding system updates, changes, and troubleshooting.

  • Provide clear and concise instructions and support to users.

  • Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to improve HR technology processes and workflows.

  • Assist in documenting and streamlining HR technology procedures.

  • Stay up to date on HR technology trends.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or1 equivalent relevant experience).

  • One (1) or more years’ experience working with HRIS, ATS. LMS, and other HR technologies in an admin capacity. – Experience working with ADP Workforce Now, iCIMS, Colibri CEU 350, is preferred.

  • One (1) or more years’ experience creating and providing training and educational tools and materials for HR technology applications.

  • Must have advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

  • Knowledge of HR processes and terminology is required.

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools required.

  • Technical aptitude and ability to understand system configurations required.

  • Experience with ticketing systems.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communications; ability to communicate complex technical matters to all levels of leadership, aligning communication style to the needs of the customer.

  • Excellent project management skills with ability to hold self and project resources accountable for deliverables.

  • Ability to work independently and part of a team.

  • Good judgment when addressing business requests, responding to inquiries, escalating matters, etc..

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and attention to detail.

Computer Skills:

Proficiency in HR business applications (HRIS, ATS, LMS), as well as proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Excel, Word and Publisher applications.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit at a desk and work on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
