Director of HR Information Technology (Oracle)

About the role

TL;DR

Lead the Oracle Cloud HCM strategy, including module design, implementation, configuration, integrations, quarterly releases, security, reporting, and ongoing optimization. You’ll manage US and international HR technology professionals, vendors, cross-functional partners, and M&A support while keeping incidents within SLAs. The role requires 10+ years in HR technology, including 5+ years leading Oracle Cloud HCM work and at least 5 years in leadership roles. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with overtime as needed, and candidates should be within commuting distance of Lancaster or Leola, Pennsylvania.

Drive HR Technology Transformation. We're looking for an experienced HR leader to champion our systems strategy, leverage Oracle Cloud HCM, and deliver innovative solutions that improve data visibility, workflow efficiency, and the employee experience. You'll influence enterprise-wide initiatives, lead a talented team, and help shape the future of our organization through technology and change leadership.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Deliver technology-driven leadership to HR teams and organizational leaders, ensuring alignment with comprehensive HR solutions and overarching company goals.

  • Lead the continued design, implementation, and management of Oracle Cloud HCM modules and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Oversee system configuration, security, and data integrity within the HR technology ecosystem.

  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and business leaders to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather and prioritize information, reporting, and analytics needs from Oracle HCM and related HR systems, ensuring outputs are accurate, actionable, and aligned with business requirements.

  • Oversee regular system maintenance activities related to quarterly releases and configuration changes, minimizing disruptions to users.

  • Proactively assess Oracle HCM functionality, business processes, workflows, and user feedback to identify opportunities for system improvement, automation, simplification, and improved adoption.

  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure optimal utilization of HR technology solutions.

  • Provide strategic guidance on emerging HR technology trends and best practices.

  • Develop and execute a roadmap for HR technology enhancements, ensuring scalability and compliance.

  • Design and deliver high quality workforce analytics, insights and reporting to ensure leaders have tools to make strategic decisions that protect and equip the company for rapid growth.

  • Lead a team of US and International HR technology professionals, fostering innovation, cross-team collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee and drive the timely resolution of all Oracle HCM system incidents and requests, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

  • Ensure seamless integration of Oracle Cloud HCM with other enterprise systems.

  • Monitor system performance and the troubleshooting of issues while also driving continuous optimization.

  • Support M&A activity of various sizes and timelines.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in HR technology field with at least 5 years in leadership roles.

  • Expertise (5+ years) in leading Oracle Cloud HCM efforts, including implementation, configuration, and optimization.

  • Demonstrated experience partnering with HR and business stakeholders to define system requirements, improve reporting capabilities, and deliver practical Oracle HCM enhancements.

  • Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance requirements, and data security.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive technology initiatives.

  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Significant project management experience in complex environment.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.

  • Strong understanding of cloud-based integrations and API management.

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Lancaster and/or Leola, PA are encouraged to apply.
