TL;DR

Remote contract paying £650–£690 per day inside IR35, with BPSS clearance required. You’ll support end-to-end Workday implementations across HCM, Payroll, Financials and Talent Management, translating business needs into configurations and working with clients, senior stakeholders and delivery teams through testing and deployment.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Consultant to support the delivery of major HR and Finance transformation programmes. Working alongside senior stakeholders, project teams, and clients, you will play a key role in configuring, implementing, and optimising Workday solutions across multiple business functions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a consultant with strong Workday expertise who enjoys translating business requirements into scalable platform solutions and driving tangible business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end Workday implementations across:

    • HCM

    • Payroll

    • Financials

    • Talent Management

  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate requirements.

  • Configure and optimise Workday solutions to meet client needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Support testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities.

  • Identify opportunities for platform enhancements and continuous improvement.

  • Provide guidance and best practice recommendations for Workday adoption and optimisation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience delivering Workday implementations and configurations.

  • Strong knowledge of one or more Workday modules, including HCM, Payroll, Financials, and/or Talent Management.

  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional project teams.

  • Consultancy experience within large-scale transformation programmes is highly desirable.
