HRIS Analyst - Senior HRIS Analyst (Workday)

About the role

TL;DR

Own day-to-day Workday HCM administration for a global employee population of 3,000+, including business process configuration, security, tenant management, EIB loads, reporting, and integrations. Configure HCM Core, Compensation, Absence, Talent & Performance, Recruiting, and Payroll integrations, and manage semi-annual releases. Partner with People Operations, Total Rewards, Finance, and People Analytics while supporting Tier 2/3 issues, implementation, post-go-live stabilization, and HRIS projects.

Workday Administration & Configuration

  • Own day-to-day Workday HCM administration including business process configuration, security role maintenance, tenant management, and EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) data loads.

  • Configure and maintain Workday modules including HCM Core, Compensation, Absence, Talent & Performance, Recruiting (optional), and/or Payroll integrations.

  • Partner with People Operations, Total Rewards, and Finance to translate business requirements into Workday configuration solutions.

  • Manage and test Workday semi-annual release updates; assess impact, communicate changes, and implement relevant feature adoptions.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain Workday reports (Simple, Advanced, Matrix, Composite) and dashboards to support HR and executive leadership decision-making.

  • Partner with People Analytics to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.

  • Respond to ad hoc data requests from HR leadership, Finance, Legal, and the E-Team with speed and precision.

Integrations & Data Integrity

  • Manage and monitor integrations between Workday and third-party systems (e.g., payroll vendors, benefits platforms, ATS, LMS).

  • Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity, identify discrepancies, and drive resolution.

  • Support ongoing tHRive (Workday HCM) implementation activities and post-go-live stabilization.

Employee & Manager Support

  • Serve as Tier 2/3 support for Workday-related employee and manager inquiries escalated from People Operations.

  • Develop and deliver end-user training materials, job aids, and process documentation.

Project & Process Improvement

  • Lead or support HRIS projects including module expansions, business process redesigns, and system optimization initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve system efficiency.
