About the role
This full-time, onsite role supports ADP, UKG, Oracle HCM, and iCIMS across daily HRIS operations. You’ll manage access, routine issues, HR transactions, reports, audits, interfaces, and service requests for associates, managers, and HR partners. The role also supports system releases, testing, documentation, and small project work, and requires an associate degree plus two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination.
We are seeking a full-time HRIS Administrator at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational support, data maintenance, reporting, testing, and end-user support for Garmin's HR systems, serving as a primary point of contact for associates, managers, and HR partners. This role responds to and resolves routine HRIS questions and issues, processes established HR transactions, maintains accurate HR data, and monitors service requests and system processes. This position supports system updates, testing, documentation, reporting, and other operational activities within established procedures and guidelines.
Essential Functions
Develop and maintain working knowledge of Garmin's HR systems including but not limited to: ADP, UKG, Oracle HCM, and iCIMS and related HR processes to effectively support associates, managers, and HR partners
Provide day-to-day operational support for HR systems, including user access and setup, troubleshooting routine issues, assisting users with system functionality and processes, and escalating complex or non-routine issues to appropriate resources
Monitor and manage HRIS support requests through designated service channels, prioritizing and responding to requests, researching and resolving routine questions and issues, communicating with requestors regarding status and resolution, and escalating complex or non-routine matters as necessary
Process, review, and approve established HR transactions including hires, terminations, transfers, and other organizational changes while following-up on exceptions or unclear requests
Provide outstanding customer service to associates, managers, and other stakeholders
Run standard and basic ad hoc reports using delivered reporting tools and validate outputs, maintain recurring report schedules, and distribute reports accurately, securely, and on time
Perform recurring data audits and reconciliations across HR systems while investigating discrepancies, correcting errors, and escalating issues as necessary
Monitor scheduled system processes, interfaces, and vendor files; identifying rejected records or processing errors, gathering relevant information, coordinating internal troubleshooting or escalation, and verifying successful resolution
Support HR technology releases, upgrades, and enhancements through assigned data preparation, testing, documentation, communications, training support, and issue tracking
Participate in and may coordinate small, clearly defined project tasks or workstreams within established scope, procedures, and direction
Create and maintain system procedures, process documentation, knowledge articles, and user job aids
Collaborate with Human Resources, Payroll, Information Technology, and other stakeholders to resolve routine issues, support accurate data flow, and maintain dependable HR operations while protecting confidential information
Apply understanding of HR related legislation and regulations and Garmin HR policies and follows relevant laws and regulations
Basic Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field AND a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Aptitude to learn and effectively apply knowledge of HR systems, technology, practices, processes, and programs
Strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Must be team oriented, possess a positive attitude, and work well with others
Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate the ability to maintain accuracy and a high level of quality in a fast paced environment
Effective time management, organizational and follow up skills with a keen attention to detail and quality
Must demonstrate the capability and commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding business and Human Resources matters
Listens effectively to issues, provides alternatives and facilitates the resolution of conflicts that arise
Ability to research and identify information necessary for effective problem solving
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge and/or experience with Oracle HR Management systems, ADP, iCIMS and/or UKG Workforce Management Pro
Experience supporting HR systems in a multi-application environment
