Workday Compensation/Advanced Compensation Consultant- PDS

About the role

TL;DR

Lead post-deployment, enterprise-scale Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation work for global customers. You’ll configure solutions, guide clients, manage your workload, and lead a functional workstream through the full project lifecycle, with scope to mentor or line manage junior consultants. Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation certifications are desirable, alongside strong customer communication and commercial awareness.

As a Post-Deployment Workday Compensation, and Advanced Compensation Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring enterprise-scale Workday solutions for our global customer base, with a focus on Compensation. You’ll collaborate closely with team members while also working independently to manage your own workload. Your ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into effective, tailored Workday solutions will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead post-deployment activities for Workday Compensation implementations.

  • Configure and optimize Workday solutions based on customer needs.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure successful delivery.

  • Provide expert guidance and support in Compensation modules.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Kainos' Workday practice.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong understanding of Workday (or other systems) products HCM as well as Compensation and Advanced Compensation

  • Excellent customer focus, able to assess customer needs, build relationships and manage customer expectations. You will know when to push back, when to escalate, and when to go above and beyond to satisfy a customer

  • Strong communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with impact, credibility and empathy, including in a remote working situation. Sound ability to formally present to senior Client audiences

  • Strong commercial awareness and full understanding of project and business dynamics

  • Broad business and technology understanding and a good awareness of industry trends in either Human Resource management, Financials or Enterprise Resource Planning or Payroll

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and make sensible decisions under pressure taking a balanced view of Customer demands and Kainos commercials

  • Able to lead a functional workstream on a prime implementation throughout the full project lifecycle

  • Willing and able to act as a role model within the capability and mentor and/or line manage more junior consultants

  • Able to rotate through various Workday delivery services, specifically Consulting and Application Management Services
