About the role

TL;DR

This is a 100% in-office role for someone with 5+ years of Oracle HCM Cloud experience. You will act as the technical lead for security, configuration, HDL, HCM Extracts, OTBI, BI Publisher, Redwood migration, and Visual Builder Studio across Core HR, Benefits, Recruiting, Journeys, Learning, and Compensation. You will manage troubleshooting, testing, deployments, quarterly releases, and stakeholder requirements, with a salary range of $90,000 to $130,000.

Please note: this position is 100% in-office.

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Technical Specialist to serve as the technical and subject matter expert for our Oracle HCM Cloud environment. Reporting to the Director, HCM Technology, Analytics & Compensation, this role is responsible for the ongoing technical operations, stability, security, configuration, reporting, and enhancement of the Oracle HCM platform.

The successful candidate will partner closely with internal and external teams to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, support quarterly releases, develop deployment plans, and ensure the platform continues to meet business needs.

Responsibility

  • Serve as the technical lead and primary technical support resource for Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform stability and performance.
  • Create, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle HCM security roles and access provisioning.
  • Lead and support Oracle Redwood migration initiatives and VBS (Visual Builder Studio) development activities.
  • Perform Oracle HCM Data Loader (HDL) data loads and support data conversion activities.
  • Build and maintain HCM Extracts and provide technical guidance to developers and integration teams.
  • Develop and maintain OTBI reports, BI Publisher reports, and report data models.
  • Configure Oracle HCM solutions and maintain related system artifacts, including offer letter templates.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop, document, and execute deployment plans for configurations, security changes, reports, and system enhancements.
  • Coordinate testing activities, including system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Support Oracle quarterly releases, change management, and production deployments.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration documentation, support procedures, and solution designs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, Oracle Support, vendors, and offshore support resources to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.

Academic/Educational Requirements

  • University degree in the field of IT/computer science, human resources management, management information systems, business administration or related fields

Required Skills/Experience

  • 5+ years of Oracle HCM Cloud technical experience.
  • Strong expertise across
  • Oracle HCM modules, including CoreHR, Benefits, Recruiting, Journeys, Learning, OTBI, Compensation. The role requires experience leading full lifecycle implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM security architecture and role-based security.
  • Hands-on experience with Redwood migration and Visual Builder Studio (VBS).
  • Experience with Oracle HDL, HCM Extracts, OTBI, and BI Publisher reporting.
  • Ability to create BI Publisher data models and advanced reports.
  • Experience developing and executing deployment and release plans.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting business requirements, configuration, testing, and production deployments.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong team player, self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
  • Excellent creative and analytical skills with strong attention to details, and proven abilities to research and test new system features and functions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, and Fast Formula.
  • Experience supporting Oracle Recruiting, Core HR, Compensation, Learn and Benefits modules
  • Experience working with global or offshore support teams.
  • Oracle Cloud certifications are considered an asset.

Wage band: $90,000 to $130,000
