About the role

TL;DR

This Florida-based role is hybrid or onsite, with a $145,000 to $180,000 base salary plus performance bonus. You’ll own the HRIS and payroll roadmap, lead a team you hire and develop, and oversee implementations, integrations, migrations, reporting, data governance, and vendor relationships. Salary: $145,000 to $180,000 base plus performance bonus (DOE)

Role Location: Florida (Hybrid or Onsite). Open to candidates who currently reside in the State of Florida.

Role and responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for the organization's HRIS and payroll technology.

  • Lead and grow a team of HRIS analysts, coordinators, and specialists, including hiring, mentoring, and development.

  • Manage core platform implementations, upgrades, integrations, and migrations end to end.

  • Set standards for data governance, security, compliance, and reporting accuracy.

  • Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and Finance leadership to align systems to business needs.

  • Own vendor relationships, contracts, and platform evaluations.

  • Build reporting and analytics that give leadership visibility into the workforce.

  • Drive process improvement and automation across the HR technology stack.

Job requirements

  • 5 or more years of leadership experience in HRIS, having managed or coordinated a team (manager, team lead, or senior coordinator level and above).

  • Experience at an organization with 200 or more full-time employees.

  • Deep, hands-on expertise with one or more major HRIS or payroll platforms (Workday, UKG, ADP, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Paycom, or Dayforce).

  • Proven ownership of HRIS strategy, implementations, integrations, and reporting.

  • Strong understanding of HR and payroll processes, data governance, and compliance.

  • Track record of building, leading, and retaining a team.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
