Workday HCM Certified Consultant

About the role

TL;DR

Requires an active Workday HCM Core certification, at least one year of hands-on experience, and fluency in French and English. You’ll configure Workday HCM modules, run requirements and design workshops, and support testing, data conversion and cutover for client projects. Occasional travel to client sites may reach 25%.

As a Workday HCM Consultant, you will partner with client HR teams to translate people processes into Workday configuration, lead functional workstreams, and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.

What you will do

  • Lead or support the configuration of Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Onboarding).

  • Facilitate requirements-gathering and design workshops with HR, payroll and business stakeholders.

  • Build supervisory and matrix organizations, job architecture, business processes, security roles and reports.

  • Support data conversion, integration testing, end-user testing and cutover activities.

  • Troubleshoot configuration issues and recommend solutions aligned with Workday best practices.

  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and help develop junior consultants.

  • Active Workday HCM Core certification; additional certifications in Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Recruiting or Talent are an asset.

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on Workday HCM experience in implementation, support or optimization projects.

  • Solid understanding of HR processes (hire-to-retire, compensation cycles, benefits enrollment, leave management).

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).

  • Strong communication, workshop facilitation and client-facing skills

  • Ability to travel occasionally to client sites (up to 25%).
