About the role
Permanent, full-time role supporting the day-to-day operation of Workday and other People Technology systems across regional markets and functions. You’ll provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, manage security and access under GDPR and SOX, and support configuration, testing, integrations, incidents, and data quality. You’ll translate business needs into Workday solutions, maintain job and organisational data, build reports, and guide People teams and business stakeholders.

The role of People Technology Operations Analyst is to support in the day to day running of the People Technology systems across your region for all Avon markets and functions. The role is responsible for ensuring data integrity, maintaining systems security and general management and upkeep of system configuration within our core HR system Workday and other relevant people systems ie. T&A, Workforce Management etc.
Key responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day operation and administration of Workday and other People Technology systems.
Acting as a key point of contact between the business and software providers for system-related activities.
Providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Workday queries and system issues.
Maintaining system security, user access, and permissions in line with GDPR and SOX requirements.
Supporting the configuration, testing, and deployment of system enhancements and People Technology projects.
Translating business requirements into effective Workday solutions and system configurations.
Performing system troubleshooting, defect resolution, and ongoing maintenance activities.
Managing workflows and self-service capabilities to support efficient people processes.
Reviewing, prioritising, resolving, or escalating system incidents as required.
Supporting integrations and ensuring accurate data flow between HR and non-HR platforms.
Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and validating system changes in test and production environments.
Creating and maintaining Workday configuration documentation and test scripts.
Delivering user training and guidance to People teams and business stakeholders.
Maintaining job architecture, organisational structures, job profiles, positions, and related data.
Producing and enhancing reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
Monitoring and improving data quality through audits, controls, and KPI tracking.
Performing data uploads, corrections, cleansing, migration, and maintenance activities while ensuring high levels of data integrity.
What we're looking for
Strong understanding of HR systems, data management, and system configuration.
Experience providing user support and troubleshooting system-related issues.
Knowledge of security administration, role-based permissions, and compliance requirements.
Experience supporting system implementations, enhancements, testing, and change delivery.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Experience creating reports, analysing data, and maintaining data quality standards.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Experience working with HR processes and employee lifecycle activities would be advantageous.
Understanding of integrations between HR systems and other business platforms is desirable.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools is beneficial.
