Workday HRIS Team Lead

About the role

TL;DR

This is a fully onsite role, five days a week in the Chantilly office, for a Workday HRIS lead with at least seven years of HRIS experience and three years in Workday. You will lead and mentor the HRIS team, set strategy, and own Workday HCM, Recruiting, and Compensation configuration, projects, integrations, training, and data integrity. US citizenship is required, and the role is contingent on funding.

CACI is looking for a Workday HRIS Team Lead who will mentor the HRIS team, set strategy, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Expertise in Workday HCM, Recruiting, and Compensation is required to improve Workday processes and deliver advanced system solutions to stakeholders. This will be 5 days a week in the Chantilly office.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HRIS team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday HCM, and Workday Recruiting, providing guidance on configuration, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage and prioritize HRIS projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Work with HR, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Talent Management, and IT to define business needs and develop Workday solutions.
  • Monitor system performance, ensure data integrity, and drive continuous improvement across HRIS functions.
  • Develop and deliver training for HRIS users, focusing on best practices for Workday HCM, Recruiting and Compensation.
  • Stay current with Workday updates and industry trends to ensure compliance and maximize system capabilities.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of HRIS experience, with at least 3+ years in a Workday environment.
  • Proven expertise in Workday Recruiting modules, including configuration, reporting, and process design.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with system integrations and data management.
  • US citizenship is required for this role.

Desired:

  • Experience in change management and user adoption strategies.
  • Experience with Eightfold Talent Acquisition and Talent Management
  • Advanced knowledge of Workday security and compliance features.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$120,800 - $265,800
