This hybrid role supports Workday HCM across Compensation, Time & Absence, and Benefits. With 1+ years of HR experience, you’ll translate requirements into configurations, testing, EIB mass data loads, and documented releases, while managing stakeholder needs and complex issue resolution. The posted base salary range is $72,000 to $100,000, with bonus eligibility and benefits.
The Associate HR Systems Product Lead delivers operational excellence and functional support within the HR Systems team. This role requires a customer-centric professional with strong knowledge of HR processes and expertise in Workday HCM, particularly Compensation, Time & Absence, and Benefits. The Associate Systems Product Lead partners with HR and business stakeholders to prioritize enhancements, resolve issues, and deliver scalable solutions that support business objectives. This role provides visibility into team priorities and delivery timelines, supports accountability for results, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts that enhance the employee experience and maximize the value of HR technology investments.
What you will do:
- Evolve and maintain the Benefits, Compensation and Time and Absence technology portfolio and roadmap in partnership with HRIS leadership, our HR business owners, and other stakeholders across the business
- Translate business requirements into effective system solutions with limited guidance.
- Independently deliver configuration changes and enhancements with appropriate documentation and testing, including configuration, business processes, security & compliance, notifications, auditing and data quality management
- Develop test scenarios and coordinate testing activities for assigned work.
- Independently manage assigned deliverables through the delivery lifecycle. Maintain appropriate documentation, testing evidence, and deployment readiness.
- Engage stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate progress, and manage expectations.
- Lead complex troubleshooting and issue resolution. Identify root causes and recommend preventive actions.
- Configure, test and process mass data loads via the Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions with functional subject matter experts, IT and users
- Support broader HR Systems team in handling end users’ inbound requests and escalations including the development of knowledge management collateral to support training and education efforts
What you will need:

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 72,000 USD - 100,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
