TL;DR

Your impact

Gartner HR is seeking an experienced solution consultant to lead technology strategy and delivery for our Total Rewards function. You will partner with HR leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative, scalable solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. Combining strategic thinking with execution excellence, you will shape the product roadmap, influence key decisions and lead the delivery of capabilities that enhance how Gartner attracts, rewards and retains talent. Leading a global team of product owners, solution designers, system analysts and operations specialists, you will build a culture of accountability, partnership and continuous improvement. As part of the HR Technology leadership team, you will help transform how Gartner leverages technology to deliver value and achieve its mission-critical priorities.

What you and your team will do

Drive the Technology strategy for key HR functions

  • Define an HR technology strategy that advances Gartner’s HR & overall business priorities
  • Maintain product roadmaps that keep our teams focused on a north star vision tied to business results
  • Drive software vendor relationships to maximize value for Gartner
  • Promote a no-limits mindset of continuous improvement, innovation and fact-based decision making

Consulting and stakeholder management

  • Build phenomenal partnerships with HR functions, IT teams and peer HR Technology solution delivery organizations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, designing scalable technology solutions on a consistent basis
  • Facilitate sessions to gather requirements, prioritize features and manage change impact
  • Drive clarity and consensus in unstructured problems

Team leadership and culture

  • Attract and retain top talent while driving a culture of high performance
  • Build a cohesive team of product owners, solution designers, system analysts and operations specialists
  • Develop a team of functional experts and thought leaders that deliver key initiatives
  • Foster an inclusive environment grounded in respect, collaboration and the highest ethical standards
  • Establish clear career-growth plans and stretch opportunities for your team

Efficient and Effective Tech Delivery

  • Lead tech delivery leveraging Agile best practices
  • Build strong technical expertise within your team, including effective Workday configuration and cross-functional acumen across other third-party software vendors
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery across vendors and development platforms – partner with IT and other delivery teams to ensure outcomes are delivered successfully.
  • Drive standardization and reuse of solution components, accelerators and best practices across global deployments

What you bring

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in HR technology delivery, including people management responsibilities
  • Deep solution design expertise in Workday and other HR applications
  • Strong HR business acumen including familiarity with Total Rewards business processes
  • Proven success implementing and scaling Workday or equivalent core HR systems
  • expertise in agile delivery frameworks
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation and stakeholder-management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, information systems, business or related field

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 120,000 USD - 167,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
