TL;DR

Lead Workday Extend architecture and development for clients in a hands-on, client-facing role. HCLTech is hiring a Senior Technical Architect in Jersey City, NJ to lead Workday Extend architecture and development work for clients.

What you'll do

  • Architect and build Workday Extend applications, including presentation components, model components, data models, and business processes.

  • Design Workday Orchestrations and API-based integrations between Workday and external or third-party applications.

  • Turn complex functional requirements into scalable technical designs.

  • Run architecture reviews and set development standards and technical guidance for the team.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

  • Work directly with clients and manage stakeholders.

What you need

  • 10 to 20 years of overall IT/ERP application experience, with significant Workday technical experience.

  • Strong hands-on expertise in Workday Extend application architecture and development.

  • Strong knowledge of Workday Orchestrations and API-based integrations.

  • Strong understanding of Workday application security and authentication concepts.

  • Strong knowledge of Workday business objects, business processes, reporting, and data structures.

  • Solid grasp of enterprise application architecture and integration patterns.

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills.
