UKG Reporting & Analytics Consultant

About the role

TL;DR

Work from a home office with on-site client work and up to 10% nationwide travel. UKG Reporting & Analytics Consultants work as part of the UKG Development or Managed Services team, providing relevant and current reporting, analytics and business intelligence experience and UKG software expertise during cloud implementations, upgrades/migrations or redesigns.

Essential Functions

The UKG Reporting & Analytics consultant works with our customers and client staff providing design, development, testing, and deployment of reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions. UKG application tool responsibilities include UKG Pro HCM or Pro WFM solutions. During project delivery, the Consultant provides hands-on report and dashboard design, application build support, training, testing, go-live support and change management.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with the development and updating of internal toolsets, methodologies, best practices and mentoring of fellow consultants as assigned. The UKG Reporting and Analytics Consultant may be engaged to provide subject matter expertise for marketing initiatives or during the sales process, providing input to project scope and approach.

Required Qualifications

  • Reporting and analytics experience with hands-on design, development, testing, and deployment in enterprise applications.

  • Experience developing reports using BIRT, Business Objectives, Cognos or similar reporting/BI tools.

  • Development experience with SQL and relational database concepts.

  • Excellent knowledge of reporting and analytics best practices, including report design standards, version control, testing and documentation.

  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using UKG Pro HCM or Pro WFM solutions.

  • Experience building and maintaining custom data views, business structures, and calculated fields within UKG reporting tools.

  • Experience translating business requirements into functional report and dashboard specifications.

  • Attention to detail to document report logic, data sources, and configuration accurately and effectively.

  • Ability to work as part of a team with clear verbal and written communication.

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio), including advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years prior reporting, BI, or people analytics experience preferred.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar) preferred.

  • Experience with SQL preferred

  • Experience in healthcare preferred.

  • UKG BIRT or similar reporting solution certification/experience.

  • Experience with HR/HCM data models and workforce metrics (turnover, headcount, labor cost, overtime, etc.)

Travel Requirements

This position typically has a nationwide travel expectation of up to 10%.

Work Environment

A combination of home office and on-site client work environment.

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
