About the role

TL;DR

This remote contract focuses on Dayforce HCM integrations, especially EDI and inbound and outbound file feeds. You’ll handle data mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, SFTP/FTP transfers, testing, documentation, and production troubleshooting with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and vendor teams. Benefits carrier integrations, EDI 834 files, SQL, APIs, middleware, or Dayforce certification are preferred.

The Client is seeking an experienced Dayforce Consultant with expertise in EDI and file feed integrations to develop, configure, and support data exchanges between Dayforce HCM and third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain inbound and outbound Dayforce file feed integrations.
  • Configure and support EDI integrations with benefits providers and external systems.
  • Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Manage secure file transfers using SFTP/FTP.
  • Troubleshoot integration errors and support production issues.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and vendor teams.
  • Perform integration testing and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Dayforce HCM integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of EDI and file feed integrations.
  • Experience with inbound/outbound interfaces and data mapping.
  • Knowledge of CSV, XML, fixed-width files, and SFTP/FTP.
  • Experience in integration testing and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

  • Benefits carrier integrations and EDI 834 enrollment files.
  • SQL, APIs, and integration middleware.
  • Dayforce integration certification.
