We are looking for a structured HRMS specialist who thrives in a dynamic operational environment, providing user support and solving practical challenges within HRMS (Workday). This role is suited to someone who enjoys working hands-on with systems, resolving issues, and ensuring that HR processes operate smoothly and efficiently.

This role is ideal for someone with a few years of experience in HR operations, HR systems, or business support functions. As an HRMS specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operation of our HR technology landscape. You will be responsible for maintaining system quality, coordinating activities, and collaborating closely with HR and IT to deliver reliable and user-friendly HR services.

The position is a part of our Group IT department at our head office in Sandefjord, Norway.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operation of Workday and other HR technology solutions, including system monitoring, user requests, and issue resolution.

  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards that support data-driven decision-making.

  • Coordinate testing, releases, updates, and maintenance activities to ensure stable and reliable HR services.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes, system configurations, and changes.

  • Perform data management activities, including validation, quality assurance, data loads, and governance tasks across HR systems.

  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver effective HR technology services.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, increase efficiency, and improve the employee and manager experience through continuous improvement, automation, and HR technology best practices while ensuring compliance with governance and security standards.

Formal requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master's in information technology, or an HR degree with strong interest in technology. Relevant professional experience may compensate for formal education.

  • A mindset focused on process improvement, new technology, innovation, and automation.

  • Experience supporting or administering Workday is preferred.

  • Some experience working with HR systems is important. Experience with Workday or other global HRM systems is an advantage.

  • Basic understanding of data quality and master data.

  • Fluent English skills both written and spoken.

  • You demonstrate an agile mindset and embrace agile ways of working.
