About the role

TL;DR

Own the technical roadmap for Workday Recruiting and Workday VNDLY, covering solution design, configuration, integrations, backlog priorities, releases, and issue resolution. Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, Finance, and Technology teams across Workday HCM, SAP BTP, and vendor management systems. This onsite contract runs through 28 February 2027, with a possible extension, and requires strong Workday expertise plus fluent English.

As a Senior Technical Product Owner, you will own and continuously evolve Workday Recruiting and External Workforce Management capabilities, with a particular focus on Workday Recruiting and Workday VNDLY. Acting as the technical lead for these platforms, you will drive solution design, integrations, and continuous improvement while partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable and sustainable Workday solutions.

Your Challenge

  • Own the product and technical roadmap for Workday Recruiting and Workday VNDLY

  • Drive the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of Workday solutions supporting permanent and external workforce processes

  • Act as the primary technical subject matter expert for Workday Recruiting and VNDLY

  • Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable technical solutions

  • Define and manage product backlog, priorities, and technical requirements

  • Ensure seamless integrations across the HR and enterprise ecosystem, including Workday HCM, SAP BTP, and vendor management solutions

  • Partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, Finance, and Technology stakeholders

  • Drive testing, release management, and deployment activities

  • Lead issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Evaluate new Workday capabilities and innovations and translate them into business value

  • Support strategic workforce initiatives, including external workforce and contingent labour management programs

Your Profile

  • University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field

  • Extensive experience as a Technical Product Owner, Workday Product Owner, Solution Architect, or in a similar role within complex enterprise environments

  • Strong expertise in Workday, with proven experience in Workday Recruiting and ideally Workday VNDLY

  • Solid understanding of Workday architecture, configuration, security, business processes, and integrations

  • Experience managing and evolving Workday products and capabilities in a global organization

  • Strong knowledge of system integrations, APIs, and enterprise application landscapes

  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable technical solutions

  • Proven track record of working effectively with both business and technology stakeholders

  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills combined with a pragmatic delivery mindset

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • High level of ownership, accountability, and customer focus

  • Workday certifications and experience in contingent workforce management are considered strong assets

  • Proficient in English
