Owens and Minor is seeking a Senior Workday Integrations Lead. As a Lead, you will be a key player in the team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options, and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our company to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage the IT applications for HR technologies, encompassing a range of applications including but not limited to Workday, UKG, Concur, Cornerstone, SAP, Oracle, and EDW. Ensure seamless integration, optimal performance, and continuous improvement of these systems to support HR functions and enhance user experience.
  • Develop expertise in and provide support for data analytics technologies, including Palantir and Power BI, to enhance our HR data analytics capabilities. Collaborate with COE teams to leverage these tools for insightful data analysis and reporting.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to deploy new HR technology solutions or enhance existing systems. Manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices.
  • Analyze existing HR processes and systems, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative solutions leveraging the capabilities of Workday.
  • Lead, architect, develop and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, and other relevant tools to ensure seamless data flow between Workday and other external systems.
  • Familiarity and some hands-on experience with Business process Configuration and Customization, Functional Setup and Workday Security framework.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Workday integrations, and data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HCM data between Workday and external or internal applications.
  • Conduct system audits, identify areas of improvement, and implement necessary changes to optimize the performance and usability of the Workday platform.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to junior team members, helping them enhance their technical and functional skills.
  • Stay up to date with Workday releases, new features, and industry best practices, and proactively assess their impact on the organization's HR processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and other business units, to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of Workday solutions.
  • Document technical designs, configuration changes, and system processes to ensure accurate and comprehensive knowledge transfer.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited institution.
  • At least 10+ years of IT experience.
  • Overall 7+ years of relevant experience in Implementation, Roll-Out and Support projects related to Workday HCM Integrations.
  • Strong Workday Studio experience is required.
  • Experience in data modeling and ETL processes.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Experience with other HCM Applications like SAP, UKG is preferred.
  • Advance Experience in Workday HCM integrations using Workday RaaS Integrations, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Web Services, XSLT, and xPath.
  • Experience in Workday HCM Modules (Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Recruitment, Payroll).
  • Knowledge and experience with full SDLC and support lifecycle including experience in testing process and Agile methodologies.
  • Very detail-oriented, with a strong Workday technical background, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in all the delivered HCM processes and reports, suggest best practices.

Compensation

The salary for this position will be $100 - 120k with an opportunity for a 10% annual incentive bonus. The specific salary will be determined by experience and education.
