About the role

TL;DR

We are seeking a Workday HCM Compensation Lead to lead the design, configuration, testing, and delivery of Workday Compensation for a higher education and government client. This role will gather requirements, demonstrate Workday functionality, document design decisions, configure the system, provide knowledge transfer, and support testing and rollout.

This is a primarily remote role requiring onsite travel approximately 1 to 2 weeks per quarter to the Atlanta, GA area. Per our client contract, candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card Holders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Workday Compensation design and configuration
  • Gather and document functional requirements
  • Demonstrate Workday features to client stakeholders
  • Create user stories and document design decisions
  • Support end-to-end testing and defect resolution
  • Provide knowledge transfer to the client team
  • Support rollout and cutover activities
  • Provide guidance to functional team members as needed

Qualifications

  • Workday HCM Compensation certification
  • Prior Workday Compensation implementation experience
  • Hands-on configuration experience
  • Functional lead or workstream lead experience
  • Strong client-facing, documentation, and testing skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday HCM Advanced Compensation certification
  • Experience with ERP transformations in higher education
  • Higher education, government, or public-sector experience
