W2 Role - Workday HCM Functional Analyst - Hybrid - 15+ Years of Experience

About the role

TL;DR

This 12+ month contract is hybrid, with 1–2 weeks per quarter at the Atlanta office and travel mainly across the Atlanta metro area, Athens, or Macon. Workday HCM Compensation certification is required, and Advanced Compensation certification is preferred. You will lead design, configuration, testing, rollout, client demonstrations, requirements documentation, and knowledge transfer for a higher education or government client.

Note: Hybrid at 270 Washington Street SW, Atlanta GA 30334 - 1 - 2 weeks per quarter; most travel is to the Atlanta metro area, Athens, or Macon. Expenses covered—Airfare; per diem (following GSA rates); hotel; and taxi/rideshare or car rental.

Role Title: Workday HCM - Compensation Lead

Required Skills: Workday HCM Compensation Certified

Preferred Skills:

  • Workday HCM Advanced Compensation Certified
  • Experience with ERP transformations in Higher Education

Responsibilities: Functional area lead responsible for design, configuration, and delivery of Workday Compensation functional areas for higher education/government client. Role provides functional knowledge of Workday, demonstrates software features to clients, documents requirements and design decisions, provides knowledge transfer to the client team, configures the software, and supports testing and rollout. Responsible for functional support team members as required. Role requires prior Workday experience.

Expected Deliverable(s): User Stories; End-to-End testing scenarios; End-to-End testing results; input into the cutover plan
