Total Wine & More is seeking a Manager, HRIS & Analytics to join our Human Resources department and lead the administration, optimization, and evolution of our HR technology and workforce analytics capabilities in Bethesda, MD. This role serves as a strategic partner to HR, IT, Finance, and business leaders, ensuring HR systems, reporting, and data solutions effectively support business objectives and the employee experience. The Manager, HRIS & Analytics will drive system enhancements, workforce analytics initiatives, data governance practices, and continuous process improvements while helping the organization leverage technology and data to make informed decisions. In this position, you will report to the Sr. Manager, HRIS.

You will

  • Lead HRIS operations by serving as the primary point of contact for Workday and related HR technology platforms, ensuring system reliability, data accuracy, and continuity of HR processes across the organization.

  • Spearhead the planning, testing, and deployment of system enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and configuration changes while validating data integrity and minimizing operational disruption.

  • Build strategic partnerships with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, document business processes, and align technology solutions with organizational objectives.

  • Drive the design, development, and maintenance of advanced Workday reports, dashboards, scorecards, and Power BI solutions that support executive decision-making and workforce planning initiatives.

  • Champion HR data governance practices by establishing standards for data quality, reporting accuracy, security, and compliance while promoting accountability across stakeholder groups.

  • Manage complex HR technology projects and system implementations by coordinating resources, establishing project plans, negotiating priorities, and ensuring timely delivery of business outcomes.

  • Lead workforce analytics initiatives by identifying trends, generating actionable insights, and delivering recommendations that improve talent strategies, operational effectiveness, and employee experience.

  • Align HR technology capabilities with business priorities by evaluating emerging solutions, driving continuous process improvements, and fostering adoption of self-service reporting and analytics tools across the organization.

You will come with

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

  • 7-10 years of progressive experience supporting HRIS, HR technology, workforce analytics, or related functions, including significant experience with Workday.

  • Deep expertise in Workday administration, including configuration, business processes, security, reporting, and system optimization.

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex HR technology projects, system implementations, integrations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience leveraging HR data, reporting, and business intelligence tools to generate actionable insights and support decision-making.

  • Strong understanding of HR data governance, data quality standards, compliance requirements, and reporting best practices.

  • Proven ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders across HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Finance, IT, and business operations.

  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Workday certifications and experience with Power BI, SQL, or other analytics and reporting tools preferred.

Pay Range

$124,080.00 - $171,000.00 Annual
