About the role

TL;DR

This 12-month fixed-term role supports and develops Oracle HCM Cloud, with hands-on work across Position Management, Payroll, integrations, Fast Formulas, HDL/HSDL, HCM Extracts, OTBI and reporting tools. You’ll troubleshoot system and data issues, connect HCM with payroll, finance and third-party systems, and work with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT and suppliers. Hybrid working includes occasional travel to Bradford or Leeds.

Oracle HCM Analyst (12-Month FTC)

Location: Hybrid working with occasional travel to Bradford or Leeds offices

We're seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Analyst to support and enhance our Oracle HCM Cloud platform within the Data Platforms Technology Services team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and support Oracle HCM Cloud solutions using configuration and technical development.

  • Deliver development across Fast Formulas, HDL/HSDL, HCM Extracts, OTBI, BI Publisher, REST/SOAP integrations and workflows.

  • Support core HCM modules including Core HR, Position Management, Payroll, Absence and Talent.

  • Develop and maintain HCM integrations with payroll, finance and third-party systems.

  • Investigate and resolve system, data and integration issues.

  • Contribute to remediation, optimisation and transformation initiatives.

  • Ensure solutions meet security, governance and compliance requirements.

  • Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT and external suppliers as a technical subject matter expert.

Essential Experience

  • Strong Oracle HCM Cloud expertise.

  • Hands-on experience with Position Management, Payroll and Integrations.

  • Configuration, development and remediation experience.

  • Strong problem-solving, prioritisation and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Delivery-focused approach with a strong security mindset.

Desirable Experience

  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

  • OrgVue

  • Experience working in regulated financial services environments

This role is suited to a technically strong Oracle HCM specialist who enjoys delivering solutions, resolving complex issues and collaborating across business and technology teams.
