HRIS Analyst

About the role

TL;DR

This temporary contract runs through about April or May 2027 and requires working onsite Monday through Friday. You’ll manage HR systems, payroll, ATS and onboarding platforms, vendor reviews, Microsoft SQL Server, upgrades, testing, and data accuracy while working with IT, Payroll, Recruiting, and operations. The role asks for 2–3 years of HRIS experience, a bachelor’s degree, and experience with Dayforce, Workday, ADP, SAP, and related systems.

The HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) Analyst plays a crucial role in managing internal software related to People Resources functionality within the organization. This role involved collaborating with IT to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and growth of HR processes, procedures, and technology. The HRIS Analyst also serves as a liaison for outside vendors, overseeing selection, implementation, training, troubleshooting, invoicing, and system updates.

This is a temporary position through approximately April/May 2027.

Essential Responsibilities:

Network/System Administration Management:

  • Trouble Tickets - ensure tickets are being responded to and resolved in a timely manner
  • Maintain Microsoft SQL Server
  • Work with IR as a liaison to HR in managing and maintaining KSC storage requirements as it relates to compliance
  • Manage, evaluate and facilitate any upgrades/changes to all HR systems, software, and technology

Vendor Management

  • Manage, audit, and review payroll systems.
  • Manage, audit and review ATS systems
  • Manage, audit and review Onboarding Systems

Project Management

  • Consult with Director of People Resources on technology needs
  • Manage internal and outsourced labor throughout development process
  • Track, document, and facilitate resources throughout the project cycle
  • Coordinate maintenance and/or repairs with IT, Payroll, Recruiting and operations team
  • Coordinate vendor maintenance and implementation with HR team
  • Leads in testing and implementation of new systems
  • Responsible for accuracy of data input

Financial

  • Responsible for preparation and analysis of system implementation, ongoing costs, upgrades, and additions
  • Familiar with a variety of restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures that relate to or connected with Human Resources
  • Knowledge of other Financial Operation Systems to assist with troubleshooting; CTUIT, Aloha, QSR, Ceridian Dayforce, Hirebridge, Smartsheet, Hot Schedules and Instant
  • Audits vendor invoices to identify costs inconsistent with projected value
  • Examines and reviews unusual cost records and ensures cost data is allocated correctly

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience (2-3 years) as an HRIS Analyst or similar role, with a focus in HR systems management
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field
  • Extensive experience in the following technologies; Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Windows Server 2016-2022, Windows XP/10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, NCR, Aloha POS, XML, Ceridian Dayforce, Excel, Smartsheet, Hireright, Hirebridge. Hot Schedules
  • Experience with Instant, tipping system
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, procedures, and best practices
  • Experience with HRIS software platform (e.g. Workday, ADP, SAP, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross functional teams
  • Ability to manager multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively
  • Knowledge of vendor management, system implementation, and training processes
  • High level of confidentiality

  • Strong work ethic
  • Familiar with Payroll compliance and laws
