About the role

TL;DR

Remote, client-facing Dayforce consulting role supporting implementation, enhancement, optimisation and transformation projects across North America. You’ll run discovery workshops, gather requirements, configure solutions, support testing and go-live, and advise stakeholders across Payroll, Workforce Management, Core HR or Benefits. Dayforce experience is required, and travel to client sites may be needed.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Dayforce practice and work with organisations looking to transform their HR, Payroll and Workforce Management technology landscape.

The role is suited to individuals who enjoy solving problems, working directly with clients and combining technical expertise with strong consulting skills.

Whilst project assignments and client requirements will vary, successful candidates will have the opportunity to work across a range of client engagements, industries and Dayforce modules whilst developing their consulting and advisory capabilities.

This is a client-facing consulting role requiring strong stakeholder management skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine passion for helping organisations improve the way they operate.

  • Works closely with: Project Managers, Solution Architects, Senior Consultants, Consultants, Commercial colleagues, clients and third-party partners

Role Overview

As Silver Cloud continues to grow its Dayforce practice, we are looking to build a network of talented Dayforce Consultants to support existing and future opportunities across the North American market.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy solving complex business challenges, working directly with clients and helping organisations maximise the value of their HR technology investments.

Working as part of our growing Dayforce practice, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of implementation, optimisation and transformation projects, whilst developing your consulting expertise and broadening your experience across different industries, organisations and Dayforce solutions.

The role combines functional expertise, stakeholder management and consulting capability, making it ideal for someone who enjoys understanding client challenges, influencing outcomes and delivering meaningful change.

Responsibilities

Discovery & Solution Design

  • Facilitating workshops to understand client requirements and business processes.

  • Gathering, analysing and documenting functional and technical requirements.

  • Supporting future-state process design and solution recommendations.

  • Advising clients on Dayforce best practice and industry standards.

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimisation.

Dayforce Configuration & Delivery

  • Configuring Dayforce solutions based on agreed business requirements.

  • Supporting implementation, enhancement and optimisation projects.

  • Reviewing solution designs and validating proposed configurations.

  • Assisting with reporting, data validation and reconciliation activities.

  • Supporting integration, migration and testing activities where required.

  • Ensuring client requirements are translated into scalable, sustainable solutions.

Testing & Deployment

  • Supporting Parallel Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Creating and executing test scenarios and scripts.

  • Identifying, documenting and supporting the resolution of system defects.

  • Assisting with deployment, cutover and go-live activities.

  • Supporting post-go-live hypercare and client adoption activities.

Client Relationship Management

  • Building trusted relationships with client stakeholders.

  • Providing guidance and support throughout project lifecycles.

  • Managing stakeholder expectations and communicating progress effectively.

  • Supporting change management and user adoption initiatives.

  • Demonstrating professionalism and credibility in all client interactions.

Practice Contribution

  • Contributing to internal knowledge sharing and capability development.

  • Supporting the creation of reusable assets, templates and best practices.

  • Participating in internal development initiatives and training programmes.

  • Staying up to date with Dayforce product developments and industry trends.

  • Supporting continuous improvement across the wider Dayforce practice

Requirements

Essential

  • Demonstrable experience working with Dayforce, either as an end user, system administrator, implementation consultant or support consultant.

  • Experience supporting one or more Dayforce modules, including Payroll, Workforce Management (WFM), Core HR, Benefits,.

  • Strong understanding of HR, Payroll and/or Workforce Management processes and the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.

  • Experience supporting system implementations, enhancements, optimisation projects or business transformation initiatives.

  • Knowledge of system configuration, testing, data validation and issue resolution activities.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes and recommend practical solutions.

  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders, subject matter experts and end users.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain both technical and non-technical concepts clearly.

  • Ability to facilitate workshops, gather requirements and challenge existing processes constructively.

  • Experience building trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working within client-facing project environments and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to wider project and practice teams.

  • Ability to travel to client site as and when needed.

Desirable

  • Dayforce certification(s).

  • APA and CPA qualified

  • Experience working with North American clients.

  • Knowledge of CAN & US Payroll processes and legislation.

  • Experience supporting Workforce Management, Payroll or Core HR projects.
